Become An Observer
Become part of the Kent Group of Advanced Motorists team and help others complete their IAM Roadsmart Course.

Once you’ve passed your advanced test, why not consider joining our team of observers and helping others to replicate your success?
Observing is your chance to help someone else improve their driving, whilst at the same time keep your skills up-to-date. As part of the training, you will gain a recognised qualification and build the skills you need. It is a thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable way to help make our roads safer by teaching, coaching and mentoring motorists to be the best that they can be.
There are however three requirements.
To get involved, simply contact Peter Bott and arrange to come to the next organised session at our Grove Green location or The Barn, Kingston near Canterbury. You’ll be given the opportunity to watch one of our qualified observers in action and find out more about what’s involved.

Neil Lakeland (pictured above) became an Observer back in 2013. He documented his experience on our blog detailing the training he was given and the joy that he got when he passed his Observer test.
Since 2013, Neil has gone on to become one of our National Observers and an active member of the group. |
